I normally don’t write reviews, and I know some online reviews can feel a bit pushed — but this one is genuinely honest. I joined a tour with Ricardo and he did an absolutely awesome job. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, explains everything so well, and his English is excellent. I honestly wish I could have kept all the fascinating information he shared! The 4–5 hours flew by unbelievably fast. I can highly recommend this tour — it’s one of those experiences you simply wouldn’t get on your own because the insights and stories he provides make it so much more interesting and exciting. Absolutely worth it!

This tour is fantastic - and Ricardo (HistoRick) is the most accommodating guide! I deliberately sought this tour out for my return trip to Mexico City with my husband. I toured with Rick and wanted my husband to have this fantastic experience. Rick is very knowledgeable, so if you want a great historical overview - he is the best. He answers all questions with detail and patience. You will not be disappoined!

The tour is a full five hours with lots of walking up Chapultepec, touring the castle, and then covering a portion of the Anthroplogy museum. Ricardo is an excellent historian and provides insightful accounts of history from the Aztecs to 20th century Mexico. We would recommend this tour to anyone.

Our tour guide Ricardo is very knowledgable and informative. There was a lot of walking for us but very fun. Small group size (10ppl). The price of the tour is very good in comparison to others who offered the same service with higher price and bigger group size. Definitely recommended this tour for all.

Our guide Ricardo is an absolute expert in Mexican history. Learned so much about Mexico in our short time with him. You can feel his passion about what he's doing and seems to enjoy doing it. Very lucky to have him as our guide. As far as the logistics of the tour itself, just wanted to point out that this tour involves a lot of walking (about 10k steps) and except for the lunch break, no real opportunity to sit down. The first part of the tour involves a long, steady uphill walk to the Chapultepec castle (could be an issue with some people). As in any museum tour, the time at the Antropology museum was just a brief overview of what the museum has to offer. Since it was the last stop of the tour it is convenient to stay as long as you want.

This is such a wonderful tour, especially if you are lucky enough to have Ricardo as your guide. Ricardo was so kind and patient with our group and was so wonderfully knowledgeable and quick with answers our questions. It is great to pair this with a trip to Teotihuacan to get a better experience with all the beautiful historical artifacts you see in the museum. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who is a history and cultural buff!
